Barbara Czarniawska key note speaker at international conference

Barbara Czarniawska delivered an introductory keynote speech at EURA 2017 Conference, University of Warsaw, 21-24.06. The theme of the conference was "Cities locked in networks", and the various presentations dealt with the term “network” through the lens of institutions, recognizing cities not only as nodes concentrating flows, but also as political agents entangled into innumerable networks encompassing globalised world. The title of Barbara Czarniawska’s speech was “The mediated city: Cities in media and media in the city”.
