Gothenburg Research Institute (GRI) is the multi-disciplinary institute at the School of Economics and Law. Here the researchers of the school have the opportunity to participate in research programs of high relevance to both industry and society. Our researchers come from different disciplines such as business administration, ethnology, psychology, sociology, and linguistics. All research programs have wide international networks, participate in student exchanges and host visiting researchers from all over the globe.
GRI History
GRI was founded in 1990 to create opportunities for more concentrated research through the program approach. The research programs provide the platform for a stimulating and vigorous research environment, in which the researchers work alongside the practitioners to develop competence concerning a specific area. There is close exchange with other members of the School of Business, Economics and Law.
The Director of the institute is professor Ulla Eriksson-Zetterquist.
