Contemporary advanced political economies in general and economic organisations in particular are increasingly being characterised as financialized, where scholars from various fields bring to our attention that corporate governance as the separation of ownership and control is at the core of this development. We suggest that the dominant theory addressing this relationship (agency theory) can be understood and conceptualised as being performed.

Seminarium med professor Steve Redpath, forskare i ekologi, University of Aberdeen. Innehar Kung Carl XVI Gustafs gästprofessur i Environmental Science: "Conservation conflicts are widespread and typically damaging to biodiversity and human livelihoods. They arise from situations where conservation objectives clash with other objectives, such as those of farmers, or foresters or hunters or business or development. I am interested in understanding such conflicts and thinking about their management."

Föreläsare: Steve Redpath, forskare i ekologi, University of Aberdeen. Innehar Kung Carl XVI Gustafs gästprofessur i Environmental Science. Works at the interface between natural science, social science, policy and stakeholders to tackle key research questions in environmental sustainability. He has a particular interest in exploring the conflicts around conservation through cross-disciplinary research. He and his team have led high-profile research projects into major conservation problems in the UK and increasingly on a range of conflicts across the world. He has written 170 peer reviewed publications and edited two books.

Under hösten 2015 mottog Sverige ett extraordinärt stort antal människor i samband med vad som senare benämnts "flyktingkrisen". I efterhand konstateras att civilsamhället varit en betydande kraft vad det gäller att tillgodose de mest grundläggande behoven för dessa människor.
