Barbara Czarniawska and Andreas Diedrich participated in conferences in Sidney

The first, 30 November-2 December was the AC SCOS conference at Macquarie University on “Anxiety and organizations”, where they both presented their papers. The second, 9-11 December was APROS/EGOS conference at University of Technology Sydney on Spaces, Constraints, Creativities: Organization and Disorganization. Barbara held a keynote on “Distant readings”, and Andreas presented highly appreciated paper at track on Trust, Distance and Ambiguous Relationship. As the latter conference took place on a building designed by Frank Gehry, it may be interesting to see how this famous architect perceives academics… (judging from the mirrors in the corridors).
